Terms of Service.
The terms that govern your use of myPRwire services.
Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the myPRwire website and services operated by myPRwire Limited ("myPRwire", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which governs the collection and use of personal data.
Services
myPRwire provides press release distribution services including editorial review, routing, dispatch, coverage reporting, account management, and related communications services. The specific scope, deliverables, and commercial terms for any engagement are set out in a written service agreement between myPRwire and the client.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice to active clients. Where a modification materially changes the scope of an agreed service, we will offer the client the option to terminate without penalty.
Client responsibilities
By submitting content for distribution through myPRwire, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the authority to distribute the content on behalf of the named organisation
- The content is accurate, not misleading, and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
- The content complies with all applicable laws and regulations in the target distribution markets
- You have obtained any necessary consents for personal data contained within the content
- The content does not contain material that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful
myPRwire reserves the right to decline to distribute content that, in our judgement, does not meet editorial standards or presents legal, reputational, or regulatory risk.
Intellectual property
Content submitted by clients for distribution ("Client Content") remains the intellectual property of the client. By submitting Client Content, you grant myPRwire a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and distribute the content for the purpose of delivering the contracted services.
All intellectual property in the myPRwire website, brand, proprietary technology, and editorial processes remains owned by myPRwire or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to myPRwire's intellectual property except as strictly necessary to use the services.
Payment and fees
Fees for services are agreed in writing prior to commencement of any campaign or programme. Payment terms are set out in the applicable service agreement. myPRwire reserves the right to suspend services where payment is overdue by more than 30 days after the due date.
All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be charged in addition where required by law.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public information disclosed in the course of the engagement, including campaign strategy, media lists, distribution routes, and business information. This obligation survives termination of the service relationship for a period of two years, unless the information becomes publicly available through no breach of this obligation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, myPRwire's total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you to myPRwire in the three months preceding the claim.
myPRwire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of business, revenue, reputation, or anticipated savings, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
myPRwire is not liable for the editorial decisions of third-party journalists or publications, delays caused by technical infrastructure outside our control, or outcomes attributable to inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.
Distribution outcomes
myPRwire does not guarantee specific outlets, journalists, or volume of coverage from any distribution campaign. We apply professional editorial judgement, distribute to the agreed target list, and report all outcomes transparently. Editorial decisions by third-party journalists and publications are outside our control and cannot be promised or implied.
Termination
Either party may terminate an ongoing service engagement by giving 30 days' written notice. Immediate termination may occur where either party materially breaches these Terms or the applicable service agreement and fails to remedy the breach within 14 days of written notice.
On termination, any outstanding fees for work delivered remain payable. myPRwire will return or destroy client content on request following the end of the engagement, subject to any legal retention obligations.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients with reasonable notice. Continued use of our services after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
